The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. I have seen some of the most amazing clouds since I have lived in the Eastern Sierra, but I had never seen anything like this before! I stayed and shot it as it morphed into other shapes. These crazy lenticular clouds are formed by the winds coming over the area mountain ranges.
